The Matokan Skin gear at EX, Deathmark and KCSB helped me get through Fatal 189

The way to beat Fatal 189 is actually simpler then you think. A truly effective way I've discovered to defeat 189 is to use the team Kc Johnny Cage/Kc Sonya Blade/MK11 Scorpion.
The main goal is to Red Card SF JC at the start and sacrifice Kc sonya afterwards. Then you'll have MK11 Scorpion and KC Johnny left, simply use the One For all Modifier to your advantage and beat cassie and scorpion to death, I suggest using WPA for johnny to snare one of them. While you're tagging in and out with kc johnny and scorpion, the Red Carded johnny cage is taking fire damage in the background, so whenever you kill cassie and scorpion, johnny will tag in with 1 hp, also a reminder: johnny's regeneration is completely gone due to red card, so he will never be able to regenerate in that battle. The way to beat Fatal 189 is actually simpler then you think. A truly effective way I've discovered to defeat 189 is to use the team Kc Johnny Cage/Kc Sonya Blade/MK11 Scorpion.
The main goal is to Red Card SF JC at the start and sacrifice Kc sonya afterwards. Then you'll have MK11 Scorpion and KC Johnny left, simply use the One For all Modifier to your advantage and beat cassie and scorpion to death, I suggest using WPA for johnny to snare one of them. While you're tagging in and out with kc johnny and scorpion, the Red Carded johnny cage is taking fire damage in the background, so whenever you kill cassie and scorpion, johnny will tag in with 1 hp, also a reminder: johnny's regeneration is completely gone due to red card, so he will never be able to regenerate in that battle.
