I have just 8 FX diamonds, and yes, there is a ton of Outworld gold characters to grind the points multiplier. I used up every kard I had with a bonus this season.

MK11 S0 with whatever 50% SP2 cost and power gen. SP2 grapple spam. Health and recovery boosters because you need to keep him alive to save Scorp.
Hellspawn with stun protection equipment (total 75%+, best 100% for guaranteed). Lead him if you face CoS LK. Block at match start to absorb the initial hit, then immediately check in MK11 Scorp.
But even then that all is probably not enough, and KC teams will wreck you.
Best focus on getting more FX golds. They’re just as strong as ~F7 diamonds.

Speaking of tougher opponents, I faced golds at 11/15. 1 of them was aftershock tremor who pulled my sindel. I killed all the opponents using raiden until he was forced to tag out (triggering hat's shield) and sindel was pulled and attacked. She didn't receive much damage. I'm so happy with this strategy I used 😂
