It's simple math. You get an average of 60 keys per month through promotional videos and krypto junk box. 60x12=720 keys. Sometimes I forgot to spend the hearts on junk box and got a key for every 2,000 hearts before the changeover.

I used gold upgrade cards for the ascendable characters. I was rarely patient because I had enough.

The same applies to new rare cards. For example with Garas, Homelander, Ghostface.
