so you can get stronger characters and get further to earn more

For GOLDs, FW store: Devastator seems to be more useful at FX than Blaze's Life Force @ FX, when there's only equip 3 slots, of course.
What the card fused to 10 unlocks, reads as a higher overall boost to a lead off fighter than Blaze does when MK11 Scorp can do the same thing (minus temporary power drain) for free.

In my opinion: It depends on who is using the equipment, there are many equipment that look bad but in specific cases they are the best thing to use.

For a Diamond, Blaze's seems to be Very useful if they're Not named MK11 Scorpion.
For a Gold, Devastor, in general, seems like it would be more useful tho, w/1 less slot... ?
