Its based on individual rankings with other players. The higher the other players get, the higher you’ll have to get to compete with them to earn your rewards. Ur competing for a spot for that reward. i think u can better understand if u look at leader boards and scroll until you see your name.

assuming he has fx drahmin’s mask, the 1st 4 battles of maxed hard diff gives 7000 x 4 + 15% points which is 32200, and the last battle gives 9200 so + 15% is 10580 (total 42,780 per tower), meaning if we divide 9581950 by 42780 then we get an estimated total of 223.9 battles to reach that points with quick battles alone

so in short, he’s obviously bugged, cheating or this guy is so insane that he has like 20 rotating autoplay teams all with mask on and did 223 battles in 2 days
