Just before I was to embark on a second attempt at 15/15 in FWSM, I decided that in addition to setting my talent tree to Special Ending maxed, because two on my team wears their Brutality gear, I'd stop by Battle Mode to allow Tournament Quan Chi a chance to secure +2% Defense (FoS) by completing just three more battles in BM. I saved my team with their gear and all as an attempt to keep their gear right where I put it, but lo and behold, they screwed me out of the Red Headband I put in CoSLK's accessory slot. When I load the preset that I saved in advance, it's also missing the phantom Red Headband. Now how am I supposed to have a fair chance at winning without a block breaker for him?

What's a good way to level up my characters I can't make it far and it feels like it's taking way too long

Need to keep it relevant to this channel…but Faction Wars was typically how I ground. These days I have so many level up kards saved I instantly max levels on new kards and never have to bother with that stuff. You can get level up kards from Silver packs for 30k, but save them for the highest levels that take the most time to grind.

Probably better to spend your koins on equipment packs though.

Still if you’ve nearly maxed most of your supports—got them up around 6 or 7–Silver packs are a solid investment. This is also one of the better ways to max Survival of the Fittest.

Anything further should probably go under -ask-for-help

Why not, as a new player, get in where you fit in? Be the bully on the playground rather than trying to be the top dog in the major leagues, just yet. I only worried about leveling up as a new player in losing in the offline game modes. Anything other than the Special Event Towers improve your XP noticeably. I have 1,231 Level Up cards available. All battles equal practice. Practice makes being a winner easier.
