I have seen glitches though during fw. After a few punches there is a glitch in the frames. Pretty noticeable in fast auto mode. I was thinking maybe they put in a delay at a certain point where the crashes usually happen.

Yes. We might refer to that as soft-locked. We must incur the loss behind that bug by quitting the battle. If you can't quit the match, then one must exit the game completely, then restart it so that you go through its bootstrapping mode rather than the game jumping right back to its home screen upon restarting it.
