Yeah. I sometimes pay to skip. It still takes time to click each level. It is weird. I’ve just noticed this pattern. When I’m low level, I seem to have all this time to grind in most new games I play. As I get experienced and it takes a lot less time to pass levels, I have a lot less time to do it and it seems that my time disappears quicker than my levels that I actually end up with less completion. I’m still trying to figure out where the time went. But if I picked up a new game, somehow I would find time again.

What bronze characters should I get to easily complete the bronze only challenge?

Try to buy bronzes every time you see them in store. The character doesn't matter, since the challenge ladder is pretty easy.
In terms of better bronzes, Ninja Mime Johnny Cage, Shirai Ryu and Sergeant

I thought the top bronze cards were Ninja Mime Johnny Cage, Saurian, and Monk.

Sergeant has access to luck, which is better than monk
Personally I run Sergeant, Trooper, and Saurian for one team, and Shirai Ryu, Lin Kuei, and Oshtekk for the second
