early tower levels are pretty low power, you should be able to get pretty far, I would think. I'm looking at lvl 31. the enemy team is 3 gold F1's. 7k, 7k, and 10k attack power for each of them respectively. You should be able to beat them rather easily with the cards you have at the moment, but I wouldn't go using souls to refresh and battle more...

I think the point they are trying to say is, Gold is easy to get so easy to max out. Getting diamonds is hard and is based on rng or luck or whatever you want to call it. Except for a few diamonds hardly any diamonds will help you if they are at low fusion. Hence using fx gold kc team is better to beat towers (that provide free diamonds). If you rely on pack opennings then maxing out a specific card, in this case, kc team becomes difficult therefore it is better to buy them from store if possible. This is not my opinion, i am just summarizing the above convo.
