You will need diamonds in future anyways, plus the packs will be for discount. And even if u dont get diamond u will be getting challenge gold anyways. Always go for diamond packs in my view honestly. Once you are higher level you are not going to be using basic gold anyways. You will only use challenge gold & diamonds later on. So pursuing to max out something like grand master sub0 isnt a good strategy. As he will be useless later on when you will have better cards. Better open mk11 kabal pack. You get basic gold in it anyways if you dont get mk11 characters. You can max out your basic golds like subzero that way. It's expensive. But its better than experiencing sell backs later on

There is nothing wrong with what tkilme said about fusing basic golds. His advice is great. The only problem is you will face sellbacks loosing a lot of souls later on when u open the same basic gold cards from diamond packs. I would say a grandmaster sub0 at F5 is awesome enough & u just need a few more gold fusions, but that can be achieved through diamond packs or even a challenge pack (I'm against the dont open challenge pack EVER mentality) but either way its upto you. These are just some different strategies

I would only buy packs with a high chance of specific characters. "Diamond Characters" is too vague and there's too many characters. Would skip unless you really really want Guardian Terminator.

At the same time, 300 is the same cost as a Challenge Pack, and this is a superior pack in everyway. If you wanted challenge golds and don't mind the potential diamonds as bonuses...

I mean, I was already like level 50+ when I returned from hiatus and growth packs was available only recently (I think, definitely wasn't around years ago), so whenever I buy it was like instant souls. Definitely way better deal than buying souls normally. You save way more money. However if you're low account level, you would have to grind to get the souls. So level up first before buying might be the better play.

Beginners only need to get enough character diversity to do quests. Once they can grind quests, they shouldn't be focusing on normal golds (except Covert Ops Cassie Cage). Focus on challenge and diamonds.

I am of the opinion that chasing Diamonds is actually important, since even at low fusions they are absolute beasts. BUT, focus only on specific characters.

The logic is that equipments that are good in more game modes are better. Shung Tsung's Stone for example, is great in FW, but is not very good in other modes. So it depends on what you need.

Also, a tip: If you can do survival mode, try to earn battle points to coincide with your daily FW objectives (the ones that earn you more rubies).* Don't be in a rush* to earn battle points if the objectives haven't refreshed, that way you are maximizing your ruby earnings. But it depends on how comfortably you can do this. Getting a high enough rank for a good bloody ruby pack is more important though.

Depends on your goals though. What team you focusing on? If not Terminator, this pack is not nearly as valuable.
