Sales happen around holidays or themed days like mk anniversary. Once you have a decent collection that can finish challenges you should save souls until there are sales. That's the smart play. And it's the majority opinion of veteran players. Not everyone follows it but everyone asks. ... Would you rather get a bunch of challenge golds and a small chance for diamonds for 400 souls per card OR pay between 200-300 per card if you wait for sale

Shang tsung morph has some issues, when he morph into klassic liu kang, doing sp1 will not trigger klassic liu kang passive, he will lose health. Ending the match using shang tsung morphing into klassic liu kang, against klassic liu kang do not give exp point.
Another is when shang tsung morph into klassic noob saibot, performing sp3 on another character will result both 3d model of both characters stays on the stage and frozen. If shang tsung morph into klassic noob saibot and perform sp3 to klassic noob saibot, the game will freeze.
Klassic noob saibot sp2 is very powerful, full chain allows him to perform 6 ghost ball and 6 tele slam, thats 12 sp attack in one go. Did this with shang tsung.
I lost several tries in kwt testing klassic noob saibot using shang tsung.
