I think no. The fact is that equipment decides very strongly in towers. If you are lucky for an epic, then the character will automatically become 3 times more alive or 1.5 times stronger. You probably can't do it without the hardware, but it's worth a try.

indeed, but overall challenge gold is enough to carry u almost everywhere while getting more fusion of diamond 1 by 1 until eventually u'll reach to the point that they're high fused or even maxed
