Reptile generally is the average weakest character here. Compare the stats only Klassic Reptile is a great outworld card. The rest are weak, silver reptile is the weakest card. Also both Nimble & Noxious also weak in the basic gold kollection. Leaving Kraken Reptile considered the weakest card in Challenge kollection portfolio. On the contrary with Scorpion or his kind (shirai ryu is the 4th strongest bronze card, also the silver is 4th or 5th strongest silver. Leaving Hanzo as one of the best and strongest challenge cards, only Injustice Scorp is weak but doesnt make him weakest) compare the stats

kenshi if u get kills with a special u get more power, and if you kill the first oopnent with kenshi ability you give 1 bar of power by the time the first guy is dead sub zero will have 1 bar already so he then will have 2 bars then you can do his S2 and possibly kill if not stun the other card and then switch to mk11 scorpion and dip into his special 2 and finish the match

I have a newer account and filtering by Not Owned, Gold and Attack puts Kosplay Jacqui Briggs at the head with Klassic Ermac and KCJC following behind. Sorted by Health instead of Attack KCSB leads with Klassic Mileena and MK11 Raiden following. Of course, they are without equipment, talents and feats.
And no support cards.

I would say stats aren't everything since ravenous mileena has the highest attack and terminator has the highest health stats but nevertheless people tell that kl liu kang is the best diamond ...🤷 So why do people not take into account passives when they classify golds?

Not true.
Recovery helps you gain/regenerate health when you're tagged out. If you have a team that benefits from a lot of tagouts/tagins then recovery can be more useful.
Toughness is more important the more your characters are fused. If my opponents toughness is less than mine, I will take less damage. Toughness is actually very important. Some would say more than health.

You shouldnt go by character stats to choose a team. You should go by team synergy.
