if you get him, he'll be your ticket to beating certain fights, beyond that, it's getting certain gears

Most diamonds, including Homelander, require high fusions to work well, since fusions are tied to stats and stats carry a good portion of the game

the rest are equipment, which, like it or not, even if you spend money, you'll need some time to accrue
