Here's a way you can wreck them but it's risky to set up. Use scorpion, make sure you get a combo ender then immediately use sp1 at 91% or more to break their nose. In the brief moment they recover you can keep using scorpion to spam more attacks. I managed to destroy a 600k boss with f1 scorpion lv48 by doing that.
