Scorpion is easy to obtain from beginner summon pack which gives beginners a fighting chance in the beginning.

He is fast and has cripple on SP1, bleed on Sp2, fire on combo enders, great gear, good synergy with MK11 teammates, versatile almost everywhere. No beginner will have the luxury to experiment with all the diamonds and formulate an opinion.

He is an absolute god like character even if people like him or not. He makes tower fights extremely easy. Sometimes intermediate and veteran players forget they were beginners once and maybe jealous because beginners can now obtain diamonds easily without the grind of the old days.

The bigger your kollection gets, you start using other characters more. I have recently switched to Klassic Team in towers. But because I have FX on a lot of diamonds, I can pick up a combo and play. For beginners, Scorpion gives the best value. Alongside Liu Kang. They both make for a crazy good team.

Then I switched to a full MK11 team

Now using Klassic team (lk, rain, raiden). Loving both teams. Still think top 5 diamonds is easily MK11 Liu kang, MK11 Scorpion, Klassic Liu Kang, Klassic Rain, Darkest Knight Noob (I killed tower 60 boss with F0 DN Noob using only minions) and maybe inj 2 raiden for bosses.(personally klassic raiden for me).

I am just trying to learn here. For example DN negates all tag in attacks so no annoying kabal, sindel or liu kang mk11 tag in. He creates minions so he can basically replicate a 2 mil hp boss. Then for each nether, he has one more minion that he can sacrifice instead of letting team die and also team mates retain 25% of their max HP. He has tag in attack, death mark in his kit and madness.

SFS is F9 in my main account. I use him sometimes, he feels like KL scorp (the movement and combos) but maybe I will use him alongside other 2 scorps and try out tower runs to see how he fares. I might also have recency bias for DN Noob since I just started using him.
