power generation is probably one of the most useful general stats in the entire game

even years later, it’s still a reliable piece to put on literally anyone who would want to use specials asap

devastator suffers from being in weapon slot, replacing any potential dmg boosters or block breakers that a character could have used instead, the 50% sp1 dmg boost is actually somewhat of a lie, the main thing is the starting effect

and the same class thing will rarely come into play unless you’re doing faction wars, where enemy teams will want to have all their members share the same class

even then, with the focus on team synergies rather than class in this age of the game (literally 90% of mk11s lol), that fx effect might not even be used

oh basically all “special damage boosts” in the game only calculate the minimum value, as if you were doing no minigame %, not the maximum

if a sp does idk lets say 100 at minimum, but 1000 with full minigame, a 50% sp dmg boost will only calculate from that minimum 100

so it would be 1050 dmg with that boost, and not 1500 dmg as expected

You’re not hurting yourself the same way as buying a gold character for souls. You’ll get that 54k gold back pretty quick. Once you have about 3 none repeating silver teams I’d say don’t bother buying though. You only need 3 teams to do challenges without spending to recharge. It might be 4 though 🤔
