for some reason, mk11 rain needs to upgrade his passive for his soak to match klassic’s

also klassic rain has a hidden trick up his sleeve, and it’s that his sp2 has a bonus effect if you score 90%+, which is snare

so much like inj2 raiden or kl ermac, he has an accessible snare that is not blockable

it’s about the fastest special attack in the entire game if we factored animation, duration, and even the minigame itself

only hard part is that you need to work his passive in order to sp1 spam, each unique debuff will give him 15% perma power gen boost up to 7 times, which is +105% boost

even with this barebones setup, I can stay afloat with sp1 chains at least 6+ times

low fusions, maybe f6 or lower, he’s the team soak setup

where you set him up with starting power + sp2 50% off gear so he can get team soak out asap

higher ones you can just use characters to help apply debuffs, and you can go setup sp1 infinite with him
