Yea when diamonds came out they were like .05% of getting one

But most of the diamonds were ascended golds. It was only hard for the new comers. Getting a diamond during my time felt like a huge achievement. When i came back, even though i lacked 80% of the diamonds, it didn't feel as exciting getting them. They drop like candy 😂

What I really like about this game is the diamond % is much higher than the legendaries in inj2. And even then in inj2 in some chests you’ll only receive shards for a legendary at a small % and you won’t even unlock the character. This game is way more generous with newer characters
