My advice is to spend koins on:

1. Support cards. This boosts your stats for ever all the char of that same name when you get them. I bought up to F6 then left it to chance when opening packs and battling in the towers and challenges.

2. The 70k equipment packs. I open 10 at a time. As an early player I know accumulating that much will take forever.

Also fight in the tower even if you can't get far. It can be discouraging losing every battle but you get koins, souls, characters, or equipment even if you lose.
