You should read the passives of characters, team building relies on passives a lot, at least for me

When an mk11 character, they get replaced with an ice clone that explodes causing bleed and decent damage

I would do this, let ermac take the blow from liu kang, because the first thing he will probably do is attack him with a special attack right away. get the scorpion into the fight and get the kung lao to fight and then do as much damage to johnny as possible. if the fight goes your way, I think that after a maximum of 2 attempts you will kill him (with a bit of luck even with one).
