Yep, many gears nowadays are krypt exclusive gears. Tower gears CAN drop in krypt with decreasing chances the higher the quality (rare -> epic) and in their specific towers. Therefore, krypt exclusive gear, as the word says, can´t drop anywhere else except of krypt.

No. You really have to the read the cards. If there is any trait with restriction, it´s mentioned in epic font as you can see on my card. First two traits and the last (FX trait) work everywhere. Krypt epics whole traits work everywhere.

It's true that I didn't count the purple one, just the regular one, but since it also has the purple one, maybe I didn't know that it would add so much life and strength

The purple ones are just to make life easier when the specific tower shows up. If you have it at decent fusion, you win battles much easier, especially boss battles. You will get to a point, where you beat them first try instead of 10 attempts.
