Rares, A bit subjective this, cause each player will have different opinion, but I always tried to focus on defensive rares. Varmint's (the hat if you want to trap your opponent for your more powerful character), Cleaver (if you tag in out a lot).
Shintai of Malice. No idea why you would have any team without it. (Nough said). Weekend Dad is very good too if you want up front tank (for SP 3 players that burn all their cards up front) Vaught Prime Armour. (Same shield as Varmint hat on tag out + other benefits).

Epics, Shintai of the North has proved invaluable to me on so many runs. Frostbite and Slow in 1 package ON TEAM. Rockin Bowling Stones, +35% TEAM unblockable attacks + increases speed for every power bar + increase damage for amount HP lost. Shintai of Revenge just cause of shield break. Maxed out it does silence too. Should keep you focused for a while.
