Best teams I can recommend is mk11 stack, always use sub zero as healer since he can prevent your mk11 character from getting killed

scorpion is good for his fire damage and he can apply crippled on sp1 if you get above 90%

mk11 liu kang is amazing to use for tag in attack and keeping pressure on enemies

mk11 kabal is good for reflecting stuns and stunning enemies on tag in

You have 5 really good mk11 diamonds so I suggest leveling them all to lv50 and using dragon krystals on beginners summon pack so you can get a scorpion fusion when you bought 50 @untold jackal

Battles are the second best thing in krypt. They drop rare and epic gear sets for characters. Its a low chance but potentially any battle can drop something uaeful. In elder and khaotic krypt they even drop fusion up cards.

So, unless really you cant beat them but need the hearts, you dont skip.
