The mantis is one of the most difficult badges to get or rather it is the most tedious since the steps to get it are too specific, if you want that in S rank you basically have to use Kitana DoD and MK1 Mileena, apart from that if you apply even a single dot, fatal blow / XRay, a single character from your team dies or you use an object like a health stone you will no longer be able to get it at least in S rank, if any of those things happen to you that I mentioned they will only give you the B rank if you are lucky

Oh by the way, recovery also counts towards the medal, so if you have any gear that improves recovery or heals either with combo finishers or special attacks it also contributes but it's almost impossible to get the S that way and that's why you should use Kitana DoD, she activates regeneration a total of 9 times per battle and is the easiest way to farm that medal but it's not worth it when the heart bonuses are not from Mileena, Kitana or the Outworld class.

Actually its really easy to get just build a team with regeneration like jason sp2 and sf scorp sp2 and use critical hits

If I had to guess it's because Fujin is low fusion, so he heals the same amount as all the other diamonds but his health recovers much more in terms of percentage

If mantis ending is related to healing a lot, then yes, my Fujin constantly heals from 20 to 80% easily over the course of a single fight
