There are 3 difficulties: normal, hard, elder. Each give more “hearts” which is the currency gained from krypt. Use hearts to buy weekly characters, equipment, or items specifically for krypt.

The store and your total hearts reset every week so spend them all or if I remember correctly unspent hearts covert to krypt keys.

Since everyday you only get 2 tries you can use krypt keys for more attempts but every team you use, you can only use them once a day unless you have an item called invigorating stones which you use to use those same characters again

Also every week 1 specific character gains a 1.5x bonus and a specific class gains a 1.2x bonus

Easy difficulty is where you begin for low fusion cards
Hard difficulty is usually for fusion 5 and above
Elder difficulty is the hardest and is recommended to have max fusion gold and diamond kards
