my writeup on this is: I'm in IT, there's no real way to prove someone did or didn't knowingly abuse it; the most I can see them doing is a rollback but this literally won't happen because it's a live service game and it would be a cataclysmic rollback because of stuff like towers/faction wars/pack openings etc; and it's impossible to prove intent/guilt/extent of the bug so the best they'll do is patch it and roll with it
