Empowered and Enraged matches are a walk in the park when you have Klassic Liu Kang and either Guardian or Dark Fate Terminator. You can cripple them on tag with Liu Kang and then the opponents will have no choice but to attempt to perform their X-Ray of Fatal Blow, which both of the Terminators evade every single time.

Dark Fate Terminator and Klassic Liu Kang together even helped me clear an Enraged Battle with Kold War Sub-Zero, Konqueror Shao Kahn and Dark Fate Terminator back in the Black Dragon Tower!
