basically you select 1 of 3 difficulties and that means you have 1-3 floors to explore

the map will be covered and fog and you gotta click on spaces to uncover the area

there’s 3 types of tiles, empty, opponent, and treasure
empty is simple, just more ways to find pathways
enemies you can fight to gain more hearts or other rewards, the type of skull displayed is the difficulty of enemy

bronze skull is easiest, silver, is hard, and gold is the boss of that floor

and then treasure are chests or tombstones where you spend koins to gain rewards like konsumables for the krypt or hearts

basically the main goal of krypt is to gain as many hearts as possible through battles or tombstones so you can finish the run and use them to buy characters or gear
