Low level accounts in permanent vacation take up valuable space on our islands.

Earn vacation days by being active.
Each day you log in adds another day to your TOTAL vacation limit.
New accounts start with 30 days, any active days get added to that, any vacation days would be subtracted. The rest of the vacation system would remain the same (cooldowns, reactivate every 30 days etc).

If a player runs out of vacation days drop them out of v-mode till they've earned enough active days to reactive it.

besides these accounts are bot accounts, they dont really care if you pillage or occupy them they have 0 resources and are only to steal spots.

well then we could be more strict and say if you run out of vacation "credit" you go to the graveyard

Spot holders will login one time per week and that's all. How your suggestion will help at this case?

Thats fair, they would do that. Their towns being active would be an improvement over a v-mode wasteland, at least it would bring those towns into play.

I guess I'm just thinking that they could use activity somehow to filter out these accounts and graveyard them. Give their space to someone who will play the game.

I agree but removign vmode or changing it wont help, even if they are not in vmode there is nothing to do, I already reported a spot taker bot to the mods but thye do nothing
