What if we adjusted the Godly Protection system a bit?
Currently, it works like this:
New players are initially protected by the gods so they cannot be attacked. You can tell whether this protection is active when you see the white dove icon next to the town’s name.
This protection ends when:
-The town hall is upgraded to level 5 (or level 7 with a premium account).
-The player sends out troops to attack another player for the first time.
-The player’s ships arrive at their first founded colony.
-The player becomes inactive.
However, what if we reworked this system, especially on older servers (for example, after the server merge) or perhaps even in general?
The Godly Protection could instead end when:
-The town hall reaches level **20 **(level **25 **for premium accounts).
-The player sends out troops to attack another player for the first time.
-The player founds their **fourth **colony.
-The player becomes inactive.
In my opinion, reaching level 20 (or 25 with premium) and founding a fourth colony marks the point where a player has just completed the tutorial phase.
It can be reached fairly quickly, but extending the protection until that point would help new players get a solid start, gain experience, and establish themselves in the game, without having to rely too heavily on older, veteran players who are already far more developed.
On older worlds, new players would otherwise have to compete with fully grown/adults (18+) accounts.
Many thanks to all players who continue to support and guide newcomers your efforts greatly help the community and keep the game welcoming for everyone.
Note: I don’t think the suggested values are random, but of course, it’s open for discussion when and under what conditions the protective hand of the gods should end. In my opinion, it should simply last longer than it does now.
