#Remove Black Market building from game

Sorry, maybe this topic has been repeated. I couldn't find it.

There are often rumors that generals' banks interfere with the game. Community moderators say they are thinking about the problem. But the problem doesn't go away. I think all honest players are irritated by the situation with banks. Agree, before, without the black market, Ikariam was more interesting. There was no account with 10,000 total points but with 5 million generals.

I suggest the simplest solution - remove the black market building from the game.

People will start building their own army, monitoring the economy, as before.
This will bring back the old spirit of Ikariam and make the game more fair.

Yes, it is repeted topic. And will be repeted again and again. Coz as you said - honest players are irritated by the situation with banks. True True True. However, this game didnt start yesterday and updates and "new features" counts as development. Basicly what you asking for "please remove smart phones and lets come back to land phones" No, thank you. Adding restricions on gen banks could help find the middle of the road.

So yeah. Even if I do aggre with 70% of what you said. No, please dont remove Black Markets, as its not BM what causes iritation. Its Gen Banks.

Anyone who is against removing banks from games is a dishonest player. We will never find a middle ground. We only hear talk. There is no one, not even a pilot project.

Gf have to be able to admit mistakes. And the black market is a mistake. It causes more problems than benefits.

Gen Banks is a big issue for "honest" players. Gen Banks and Black Market is not the same, even though they are closely related.

Even if you remove black markets, the gold trade will continue through trading port through mass freighter buying/selling. Then the fighting will be through multiple VPN accounts and not just a large one from a bank. The issue doesn't stop, it just evolves. If gameforge want a perfect system they need to be 100% commited to it - i personally don't see it happening. Just minor fixes with their own drawbacks

The buying of troops for only half your gold stock is a current GF 'fix'. Notice it doesn't stop anything, just drags out a process longer. These are the kinda 'fixes' that i expect, so when moderators say they are 'fixing banks' i personally get worried. What i currently want is for them to simply do nothing bad. thats all. like unit upgrades for example, but its alright

it wasn't announced, but it was at the time there was a gold exploit going about. Maybe intentional, maybe not, not sure. But silence is normally telling. When i say something correct, theres no comment, when i say something wrong, it gets rebuked. The fact no moderator has came out to say anything for quite a while would make me believe its intentional. What it fixes through, i have no idea 😅

i have other theories. That if it was gameforge that came up with the 'general vault' idea it would be spotlighted and pushed forward, but because it was player they don't want to implement. Same reason black market isn't going away, it was their idea. Its forwards, not backwards - even if you need to go back to re-construct, its not option

In terms of "general vault" to prove it you are wrong GF need to show something with clear message:

"Look, Ika-community, the member XXX gave as an idea to introduce yyy feature, GF considerated it and GF thinks its a cool thing, so here you are - please enjoy new feature. And all this "suggestion channel" is not only for "fog", it really works!".

I definitely dislike this idea.
Many active alliances consist of both fighters and builders/Producers.

Builders can Support fighters with Army through the black market, which especially now with the unlimited unit Upgrades becomes quite important.

Without black market, how would builders be able to coexist with fighters?

Agree with @hexed cloud, also I find it useful when stronger player can sell army to weaker one within the aliance, if he/she doesn't have time for the game at the moment.

Im a disagree with deleted black market building, the best way is the transfer of those generals banks, put limitations on transfer to no affect other servers and that’s it, for example for transfer to another the acc can’t no be high score than generals in that server I doubt top 50 general score be high to 2M with this rule you can’t transfer bank acc with 20 M generals or etc cause the problem are the transfer big qty of general to x server without any regulation

removal of black market will be a very good feature for ikariam and hopefully they might add general vault or something like that.

So if you actually found other reasons, why do you say "there are no other reasons". Those reasons may not convice you. But they still remains as valid reasons
