Do mandatory server merge every 2y. Maybe its not that fun for individual players, as they can move forward and backwards whenever they want for addiotnal fee. But its cool thing to keep game active for Alliances. It takes one year to settle the politics, another year to carry on with what is set up. And then, all intrigues start fading. New new environment and neibourhood brings vivid colours again

I would not look forward to racing for islands, and leveling up said islands over and over. It's probably fun if someone is looking to brawl in their neighborhood, for everyone uninterested in that, not so much.
yah, "racing for islands" is a downside. I agree. But its only at the begining. Look at the positive things 🙂

Then there is the question of server boosts, players who chose a certain boost last time, are likely to make the same choice next time, so the environment isn't even changed too much. Just reset.
To me this just sounds annoying, the war servers exist for anyone with the main goal of chaos, battles and politics. I'd assume
Yeah, but my main goal is change enemy selection. So server boost does not matter. Well it is matter coz whole ally needs to find middle of the road but yet, is not that hard compared to server "stagnation" whihc happens when you sit in same server for too long.

What you describe is an issue on some servers and only for some people.
For most of the people this is going to be just unnecessary stress every two years.
It might work for some low-populated servers, but it is not going to work globally.

Knowing how many players there are in the server and how many spoke up here - not enough to make such a statment "most" and "some". In ally I am there are about 200+ ppl. And to you comfort - most of them do complain about challenges they have to face which you pointed above. But once its done - its done, then the fun part begins again. Its like jumping to cold water. No one wants to do so, but once pushed by force, they have no choise. And afterwards - enjoy fresh game again 🙂

I’m also on board with merging servers after 2–3 years, because for local servers, after that much time, the player count drops to “ghost town” levels. A merge brings back that fresh, competitive vibe with new opponents, instead of just sitting there as a lonely king of an empty kingdom. Of course, there will be those sluggish types who just want to stay put and avoid any competitive action, but in my opinion, competition is the only way to grow — both for the players and for the game itself.
Server mergers are forced and change world resource yeilds.. generally resource yields are getting worse imo too, look at the new 5% server, they used to be 75% boost on wood, and still other good luxury. I understand wanting new stuff, personally new servers don't excite me, almost atall. Mergers are kinda pushing older and newer servers, little unfair to some. They just need cross server alliance wars or full server wars. Very fun, very exciting, continuous change and a reward system. The amount of work required to the yield I think it will be worth it 100%
Yeah, but that is with couple assumptions:
- The servers are dead/low population, which is not the case for all of them.
- There are new servers with enough players to merge with.
- The new servers are actual new players and not just new multi accounts.
Again, merger is a good thing, but needs to selective, forced merges to all servers "just because", makes no sense whatsoever.
Oh, of course, my friend — you gotta be selective about it! If a server’s population is too low (maybe because of bad option, or who knows what else) and it has similar start dates and player strength to others, then it makes sense to merge. Like, if you’re merging three servers, each one should have roughly the same point player base — otherwise it’s just serving up a big plate of unfairness.

That's the problem, this suggestion is not selective, this is everybody merging on 2 years cooldown.
Yes. It is a forceful suggestion for everybody. Not selective. Or, if you wish - encouragment to developers to carry one with what they alrady doing 🙂 . Not sure if voteing rate looks like "encouragment". But it definetly increases players activity aftewards whihc involes extra ambra payment for entertaiment (or get back to comfort) they get.
Merges can be good for activity but again like people commented islands are a major issue.
You can always just go inactive for 37 days and migrate to another server, which would solve your issue
No. That woldnt solve. I'm not an idividual player. Hardly imagine whole ally doing that.
