#Let the effect of the reduction buildings go over 50% for buildings

One way to tackle the production problem is to approach it from an other angle. We
can already level up the reduction buildings exceeding level 50, it would be really exciting if we could benefit from those higher levels other than highscores. I would propose the additional effect beyond the level 50 threshold should only take place for constructing buildings. This way it wouldnt mess up the balance in combat. I think the implementation of the idea would create more strategic planning and would serve various playstyles.

and on level 86 every building would be free without any costs?

Cap can be higher. Lets say level 75.

New government type: Engineers: -5% construction cost -20% building construction time. Idle citizens now give NO Gold instead of 3 Gold.
I believe that there should be options for reducing construction cost, but no longer throught reduction buildings.

Some other suggestions have more than 50 likes, take a look at mine. I agree with some suggestions to add some type of new reduction, like through research/miracle/government form. There are a lot of possibilities, gameforge just need to follow one path. Also, it would be right to make it clear to the community, or at least, hint something when some decisions have been taken.

My other suggestion got taken down just because of dislikes. a lot of people here are old and they hate new things, with the current max 50% reduction or 64% the game will become unplayable. people will have to wait months to gain enough resources with a chance to be pillaged to upgrade 1 building. That also will cause a lot of people to quit because the game wont be playable. there is no fun in waiting months to upgrade 1 building

I still havent seen anyone expressing thoughts why it would be bad to raise the cap for buildings.

Actually there isn’t. In fact I think this increase in the cap for reduction building can be a good idea paired with resource production bonuses. Or else in my opinion, to have raised the building levels that high will have no sense. Anyways, likes are one form of “raising the attention” to one’s suggestion, but as everything in ikariam, the last word goes to Badidol.

You got your criticism:
Your suggestion does not say what the new limit should be, which almost sounds like you can get 100% reduction. Only in comments you later suggested 75 with maybe.
Current reduction by 64% is already very high and most of the players do take that as a first mandatory goal to get there, because it is so OP.
Reducing it beyond 64%, you would just move that mandatory meta by couple levels and everybody would go there regardless how expensive it is, because it is so OP building.

If this suggestion section showed anything, is that people just don't like straight up boosts in numbers, they prefer ideas with new mechanics.
Your idea does not bring anything new to the table, its just boosting already powerful building.

Donate more. 110m for one building doesn't take months to acquire if you took care to maintain island upgrades well. Now if you are a leech or you play with leeches I get it.
