@arctic pine yes. Just be happy it wasn't a h-2-h event and you lost 40 points for forefit and your ticket. Neither gets refunded, even if you contact support through the game.

Have you closed game and reopen it to see if the car is there ? If the lag caused the data to not be sent/recieved, maybe your keys will still be there if you open and close the game, failing that contact support and see if there is anything they can do

When the sytem inbox shows the red dot, and I click on it and go read the message, when I return to the game the red dot is still there, I have to click on inbox a second time and then return to the game once again to remove the red dot, more annoying than anything else.
Also annoying, I will get a push notification to my device telling me my car has upgraded, so I will log into the game to find the update has not finnished, not sure if it's a premature notification, or a really delayed notification from the last upgrade I did.

@arctic fulcrum Thanks for your screenshot, we'll take a look at it tomorrow. To be honest, I'm not aware of any gold hacks out there that actually work. I've seen a lot of the links to MOD sites and the videos on YouTube, but none of them actually show the currency values being changed successfully. I suspect they're just scams or mechanisms to put malware on your phone.
The currency values in Rebel Racing are server authoritative. Which means that it doesn't matter what you hack the values to in the client app, it's the server that ultimately decides how much you can spend. I know there are memory hacking tools out there, but all they can do is alter what is shown visually in the game, they can't alter the balances that the server stores.

I see how you could interpret it that way, but it seemed to me like he was just trying to say it isn't quite as extreme. Noble even seemed a little tongue-in-cheek at the end, asking to receive all the S 5&6 resources himself. I think it is a bit tricky, because to Noble's point it is very frustrating when it feels like we have stalled out as far as upgrading our cars. But to Disturbed's point, if we all maxed all our cars this week, we wouldn't have anything to play for the following week, so we all would stop playing. So Hutch has to reward us enough to keep us interested and progressing, but also never really let us reach the finish line. And everyone has a different tolerance for how much they are willing to grind for how much reward.

That is why it slows down and gets stuck when cornering. At the same time, the machines are the same in terms of power! Not the first time such bugs. Take away cornering braking, make a button! Plus nitrogen replenishment for stunts!

@vivid viper HUTCH Ian is a bot opponent, i.e. not a real player, and therefore doesn't show up in the leaderboard. You'll see a bot opponent if we can't match you against a real player.

And it wasn’t a few seconds apart like previously in other races I get some races are run close together. This Active race and Ghost race were hours apart.

To my recollection weave and bump. As I was trying to get a slower time to get the opponent with my previous times off my arse. I did it with four out of the five courses to see if would give me different opponents and in turn get me off their choice of opponent.
As I was being taken for 30, 60, 90 points from same opponent, yet the randomness of opponents seems not so random..and then I get an Hutch Ian to race because no other ghosts were available. Appreciate the follow up ..

The only code case that would prevent a ghost recording from being stored is if the vehicle was reset onto the track during the run, but it could also happen if there was an issue uploading it to the server. We're not sure which at the moment. The race history still shows the run as a win or a loss in the case that we don't save the ghost recording, which is confusing things a bit.

Tier S h2h. It gave me 3 easy opponents (green) to choose from. All were 3 seconds slower than me. When I raced one (13th placer) they were 1 second faster than me. Sorry, I did not get a screenshot.

@Hutch_Ian I don't know if this is an issue for everyone else, but, me and alot of other players in the Facebook forum, encounter our vehicles becoming slower when we reach the top nine. Definitely top 3. However, if we end up choosing the lower opponents, our cars and trucks are back to getting our original or better times. I'm constantly having to rematch players with cars that are nowhere near my best times and aren't close in upgrades (pp). But, they'll soar pass as if they hit nitro, when in fact they're nitro gets used when they're ahead. I spend quite a bit on gold when needed and I hate having to rematch, especially 40-50 coins, repeatedly. I understand not everyone can afford to pay to play and win, but at times it's ridiculous. And the Stage 6 parts are as rare as four leaf clovers in the lower tier events. Lastly, have you considered generic fusions and more availability regarding S Tier augments? I dig this game, by far one of the best out there, but it gets so freaking frustrating. Sorry for rambling on, but I just got done having to rematch a guy 4 times in Off Road, doingwhat I described in the beginning. Appreciate your time and tolerance for lengthy rant. I don't have a number, in the game I go by Bill Pieper. Ian suggested I post this here. Appreciate your time and work.

H2H racing, hit the race button and game spins it’s wheels then freezes up. Never even saw the 3 shadow images of cars go by, or even come close to the opponent selection screen. Result ? Forfeit and a 40 point loss. (And loss of tickets). Getting so tired of this. There is absolutely no reason to post a forfeit before a matchup is even selected. Fix this please !

Just wanted to add a little bit more info about what’s going on from a code point of view.
The physics update for the game runs at a fixed time step. For a single physics update, each car will advance forwards a certain distance based on its velocity, with faster cars advancing a greater distance each update.
As the car advances forwards, the collision shape that surrounds it is tested against trigger volumes throughout the track, in particular the finish line.
If two cars are determined to have touched the finish line trigger volume on the same physics update frame, i.e at the same time, a finish time delta of 00:00:000 will be recorded.
The only way to categorically reduce the chance of a 00:00:000 finish time delta would be to increase the frequency of physics updates, but unfortunately that would have a big impact on the overall game frame rate, particularly on the mid to low spec devices.

@short belfry ( from Hutch Steve ) Just wanted to add a little bit more info about what’s going on from a code point of view.
The physics update for the game runs at a fixed time step. For a single physics update, each car will advance forwards a certain distance based on its velocity, with faster cars advancing a greater distance each update.
As the car advances forwards, the collision shape that surrounds it is tested against trigger volumes throughout the track, in particular the finish line.
If two cars are determined to have touched the finish line trigger volume on the same physics update frame, i.e at the same time, a finish time delta of 00:00:000 will be recorded.
The only way to categorically reduce the chance of a 00:00:000 finish time delta would be to increase the frequency of physics updates, but unfortunately that would have a big impact on the overall game frame rate, particularly on the mid to low spec devices.
So instead, we’re doing some additional calculations in this latest update to try to make sure that the car which is ahead on the physics update frame, is given the win.

Further to the above mentioned vechile reset issue in the halloween smash event, I've just experienced a similar if not the same issue in the halloween blazer event, again hit a wall, this time got stuck with another vechile, but instead of the usual vechile reset, it was jumping around erratically and then did eventually reset, but seemed to take longer and struggled to do so. I dont know if the halloween stuff is affecting vechile resetting somehow ?

I used 100 gold keys to open the Trick or Treat Crate, which is advertising the 2x legendary chance. I ended up with a class D Subaru BRZ. I find this extremely frustrating as the class D cars drop in a silver crate, not gold. Therefore, why would you put them in a holiday special gold crate!?
I did look at the fine print after this drop to see the Subaru is listed, however, as said above, I think this is really poor on your side to advertise this special as such. D cars should NOT drop from using gold keys! Misleading...please fix it.

It gave me 1.5 course time instead of my normal 1.4 around 19:00 seconds
In turn that set me up for these three opponents

I’ve tried that before and an opponent took advantage of that also, I went twenty seconds slower, kinda of 😄 strange. Furthermore, it doesn’t change the fact that each time 1.4 beach road comes up it’s minus twenty (20).

This would bother me as it should others whom may have used real $$$ to buy into a H2H event ... makes me a little leery to go forward in a high gold entry only to have an active time that is unattainable. While pairing myself up with unbeatable opponents..

I had four races this morning in the Halloween h2h on muddy drag where the top competitor is supposed to be slower by about .200s, and all four times I've lost by more than half a second. It's been the same person every time, and their blazer is +14pp ahead of mine. It seems impossible that I ever finished that course a full second faster. What gives?

I don't know if this is a bug but in the last h2h (tier d) it keeps on giving me the person "Robert Wheeler" as my medium opponent of course I don't want to risk fighting a maxed out 2star car so I chose him instead. The last couple days I haven't been able to watch videos. For things like free cash, or extra fuel, extra event ticket, etc, tapping the video button once does nothing, and when I tap it again it pops up the error message that it can't display a video while another video is being played. But nothing's playing. Tried restarting a few times, even uninstalled and reinstalled game, and nothing.
Also once I reinstalled game, I lost all my vehicle modifications (paint, etc). Everything else is restored. Is there a way to get everything back?

@junior hamlet You should be able to go into each car you have a customisation unlocked for and it will show as "owned" and you can reassign them to the car for free. But if you have any issues do contact Customer Support

Perhaps on next update it will get corrected.. I took a screenshot as I knew it was skewed on first round races... The Artificial Intelligence is off on 5.3 when starting H2H

Pictures of first round difficulty both 5.3 and 5.2 notice the difference...
And the difficulty for other courses on first round through were same as 5.6, 5.4, 5.2, and 5.1... all opponents one or two star opponents

@sick raft Hey! Yeah this is on my radar, I think we need a matching making threshold override for specific tracks. The times on this track will have a much tighter range, as there’s less opportunity for error/time savings due to lack of corners. I'm getting a task stuck in the backlog so hopefully we can get it sorted. I'll probably suggest it's limited/removed from circulation in the meantime, if you guys think its causing too many headaches?
Let me know if there are any other tracks across the game where you think the match making is off in a similar way.

@slender scarab yes, 5.3 is totally messed up. I just lost to my medium opponent twice. He has lower PP. I hit the boost after the drop, and he pulled away from me while I was on boost. I think there are deeper problems on 5.3 because my times are all over the place on it and it is a straight track.

It looks like the game failed to save the car snapshot to storage when you last applied customisations to the Nissan micDrop. That’s why it’s used the fallback default Nissan image. I’d be interested to know what happens the next time you change a customisation on the Nissan. Whether it recreates the car snapshot ok.
Are you low on storage space on your phone by any chance?
The Tier A off road cars have been added to the gold crate in the next release.
Hopefully within the next couple of weeks. It’s going through the testing process at the moment.

Changed them back to what it was before, and it is still working 👍
