same problem on the CADILLAC race round 1 after having spent 40 gold coins to redo the race and there big bug and consequently abandonment of the race therefore 50 points lost: 20 for abandonment and 30 because I had to play against an opponent less fast. A disastrous chrono which follows with the loss of 2 phantom races.
This is a recurring UNFIXED bug that when fighting for the lead is really annoying.

Two shootouts now all I keep getting is times I can’t beat and 23 point middle opponents…. This really sucks and cost me too 9 in the RUF and is likely to cost me top 9 is the challenger too.
Why is the middle option not the next fastest for 28 ish points?!

Hutch may think you can do better… 😉 If you are fully maxed, you should be able to beat those times. If not, then it will be more challenging, but possible. That is what makes the game fun - go for it and win (or lose) or take it easy and collect 20 points. I wish the game were actually like this with no re-races and no ticket buying. It would force races to make more calculated decisions on each race.

Here is an 'interesting' bug:
You click the advertisement button to watch an ad, but nothing happened.
Then you start racing in the game. In the middle of a race, the advertisement will cover the screen and the race will stop...
This 'new' feature of not showing an error when advertisement is failing was NOT designed correctly and causing lots of other bugs, like the bug of both buttons disabled in case of lose in H2H race...

Here is something strange regarding the new matching algorithm.

Some guys are complaining that they get impossible opponents that are unbeatable with a lower upgraded car.

Unfortunately it works the other way around as well.

Daily D with the custom camaro :
The bracket is running about 1 or 2 hours, lots of guys have set times. I started from position 98 with a double fused custom camaro. First race was OK with a +40 opponent, but then I only got bots as opponents.

Please take a look into this with the team. The matching with nearby opponents is a good idea, but it does not work all the time. In a running event where you fight with fully maxed cars for a top10 position it's OK, but there are lots of other situations where you hopefully can find a better solution.

Edit: I bought a refill of tickets to be sure. And yes, there are a couple of other custom camaros with competitive times. I could race them after reaching the top20.

Please have a look into this. Right now it's unfair in both ways. For the slower racers as they get impossible opponents and for the faster guys who are joining later in a bracket as they can't climb up to compete against the faster opponents.

I’ve sent a message to Nico in the game suggesting just that. Specifically I’ve said at least one opponent, the left choice obviously, would need to be a minimum of 1% slower than your best time on that track. They need to start the search near you in the h2h but expand the range farther and farther in the h2h to find a slower time. Three faster times than you as choices should never happen under any circumstances.
