A quick question to anyone doing to Viper ladder. After the 1st fusion crystal. Has anyone notice how aggressive the AI players have become? From about rung 17 onwards? My car is fast enough to win, but the amount of side swipes and blocking is making it near enough impossible. Im wondering if other players are experiencing the same thing?

That is always there with the ladders, ladders are usually designed for double fusion. Only the entry requirements are levelled to single fusion. Driving skills matter after rung 15, not much of PP matters. If skilfully done ladders can be completed at lower PP also...

The issue is your times are in the same window as a lot of other people, ultimately you need to go faster by upgrading your car more / race faster people and watch their ghost to see if they take better racing lines than you. These are the best times for the WRX and you can see they are faster. There is no bug, no cheating you just need to go faster.

If anyone is playing Rebel Racing with the expectation that it's a pure racing game they are simply delusional. It's as much, if not more so a strategic game and you can also pay to win. So be the fastest or be very strategic or pay up if you have to win (or combination of these). If you can't live with those facts it's time to find another game. I play in a nice happy medium between strategy and being fast so am satisfied that I can regularly finish in top 19 with occasionally cracking into the top 9 without coining. Also don't worry about how others play.

I've seen the players you are racing and they are not the fastest and you are stuck in a position that makes you are target for many. It sucks but it's not Hutch targeting you. And while I do say "go faster" when you do finally get to a point you don't lose any races to ghosts you will have a whole new set of issues to deal with like 10-point opponents.

For me I'll take 10-point opponents all days long vs. being ghosted by others. It's a tradeoff and its by design by Hutch. Hutch forces you to upgrade your car if you don't want to be lose. You then upgrade your car only to find out now you are matched with 10-point opponents while you climb the leaderboard.

But there is a sweet spot at the top of the leaderboard once you get there. Generally your opponents at that point are fast but not fast enough to beat you and you get 30-42 point opponents.

Hit him 20 times and he will just buy another 20 races to make up for the loss. During shootouts where you can't buy more tickets 0571 is rarely at the top because he's not that fast or a good player. His only skill is buying 1st place.

If you are not paying attention at all times you don't notice his score drop then go back up even higher after he buys more tickets.

Since they started letting players buy h2h tickets years ago, there will always be players buying them. There will also be some who buy an excessive amount for no logical reason other than to do it. Just accept that the top 9 are very fast and or buy tickets. For non ticket buyers 19th or 39th rewards are all we can hope for. But if you play correctly those 19th or 39th rewards are more than enough to do well in the long run.

Obviously your not reading the words I have repeatedly had to have repeated, I don't have any problems winning races that have any semblance of fairness involved, just asking for equal treatment through out the field shouldn't be that hard to understand or expect, I fully understand if someone has an inferior setup or equipment that they should expect to be beaten by better cars with better equipment compiled but at the same time if 15 of us have relatively the same car in a competition with 10 superior cars ,5 of the inferior cars shouldn't have their ghost beaten 30 times more than the other equal cars as theirs,I would think that the majority of intelligent people would want the better drivers to be able to dictate the order of final standings and the algorithm used would be able to help facilitate this and punish the better cars with shity drivers. First thing that should be the easiest would be to limit the times anyone's ghost is allowed to be beaten each hour, each car should be put in others choices an equal amount of times assuming everyone is racing an equal amount of times or close to, if you buy in a second or more times then your ghost should also be put up more, obviously its not an easy task to figure out what points are given to the winners and taken away from the loosers but more times than not there really isn't much of a choice in my experience, they dictate and know witch one I'm going to choose by the times and points difference anyway, so some sort of fairness should be implemented within the parameters the algorithm stats with

The current h2h algorithm takes into account your time and your current position in the bracket...

You definitely need to practice and find a suitable strategy for yourself.

To avoid being on several people's radar, players seems to sometimes change their times(sandbag) or go faster... But then again it's no guaranteed that you won't get any ghost losses then... Cuz there's always someone faster than you.

Absolutely, except my experience with your first sentence isn't true, I've been told the same thing several times including by Hutch employees, in yesterday's and today's tournament with the Subaru i can clearly show you how several of the top 10 repeatedly beat my ghost when I was in the low 20 and 30s they were several hundred points ahead and faster every time, I would load better augs,beat one or two of them and minutes later I would have my ghost beaten again by others much higher in the standings

At one point last night 7 of the top 10 had beaten my ghost many of those several times, i couldn't get any higher than the 20s because of even though I was beating others in the teens consistently until I ran out of better augs much sooner than my original plan

Correct. IMHO the mini is just about worth it but probably worth waiting until they run a mini season with that car, the other two are not worth it at all. The Atom is a much better car but will only be available for another 9 hours if you have up to 500 gold keys

But none of this should have happened. It was their bug, players did nothing wrong. Hutch should have just issued refunds and worked with players to recover excess gold received.

If you understand the Reynolds theorem was never used by Hutch and they opted for the Buckingham aerodynamic theorem instead, then as a a player if you perform the Gauss–Jordan elimination on the dimensional matrix to determine the kernel and mode; then I find it helps take the corners a lot better.

I would run the first five races with the Ford. Regardless of how fast it is versus your opponent, you want to win by the smallest margin possible. Once you’re done with the five, switch to the Bugatti.

Best do some trial runs in easy money and know what your max times are with each car before racing. (with & without boost) Although that isn't always possible in S tier due to the track options. maybe do it on the lower tier tracks first if you don't have much gold coins to spend.

@golden harness Most newbies make mistakes with the game because they try and progress too fast and then either make bad choices or just get trashed in the H2H's. - So save what you can and spend as little as you can until you've got to grips with things, and tier D is good for learning all that. The principle is the same thoughout all tiers.
