Having a few issues and I don't understand CFX all that well. Been trying to get it all updated as there's gonna be a local saber meetup next week and now I'm dealing with some issues. Mainly now it's just getting my accent ring working again and to get the neopixel connector to stop flashing like the pixies accent.

though from looking, looks like you did the CFX equivalent of sub-blading. The auxaccent= is a positive number, meaning it will be directing the accent pixel behavior to LS not LS2. So with accent_pixies=4 in the blade profile, it will be playing the pixel sequence for folder #4 in the extra/PIXIES folder.
(Page 47 in the manual)

I've got my accent ring going again but it's still doing that sequence even with style_pixies set to 0. I couldn't find anything to do with accent_pixies

you don't need to, you can navigate to SD Card USB access through the saber menu and just have the board plugged into USB.

right, you need to navigate to the option in the saber menus, as I said. Same way you change fonts, just keep navigating till it tells you "SD Card USB Access" Then when enabled you can access it. Pressing aux in that mode will end mass storage mode and go back to saber function.

I keep getting stuck in soundbank selection
And the rotating to change fonts is gone which made it much easier to cycle through the 50+ fonts to get to the usb access
Gonna remove all but 1 for now just to make my life easier lol

that gesture control isn't on in the default package, you'll need to re-enable it in the config.txt.

Yeah I also enabled menugest and clashing had the same result of just repeating the audio

hmm... set the pixies=0 then go into the ) folder, open up pixies.txt, and change all the parameters to strip mirror. Like so:

Idk if it's because it's wired this way but ever since I've had the saber, the accent ring stays on (just static, no pulse or anything) after i turn off the switch

that sounds to me like the ring is wired directly to battery terminals for power rather than through the board and kill switch.
what happens when you remove the battery then put it back, do they kick on again?

no they stay off until i hit the kill switch to turn the saber back on

ok, that sounds more like a behavior setting for it since data is going to them to turn on after the board boots.

Wish I could show you, I was really hoping the video went over it but it just cuts to the board being installed and all wired up
And a picture of the board won’t help since you can’t really see the wires, you can see what’s been soldered on the board and that’s about it

I mean, not in the case of CFX to an extent. I can see the basics of what is wired, but the only variables from that would be the accent sequencer pads, the BT pads, and the OLED pads. I'd need to see the bottom of the board to see if there is something wired to LS2, but with the parameter in the config set to a negative number I can already tell that much. What I would really wanna know is how the other components are wired into power.

from what I can see on the pixies 4 holder (whith the blade profiles point to in the config) have the different states do either blade color self pulse, audio flicker on current color, or strip mirror.

the pixies sequence is back on the neopixel connector, but the accent ring is just fine

idk what i didn't fix, setting the style_pixies to -1 doesn't fix it

looks like whoever made this config used an older version package before that parameter was added to the package, so they threw it in place randomly in the top section.
