ProffieConfig crashes whenever I try to edit config file need help

After I add a new config file to proffieconfig and choose the edit selected configuration option I get this error message every time and I need help pls

They have a guide for updating the core but it’ll also get you to the arduino setup with the config, I don’t know exactly what you’re trying to do

for starters they added a new saberfont echoes which is the tano lesson font so I'm trying to get the fett proffie 7 blade switch thingy to work

and then after that add new soundfonts/blade styles

If you tab over to neo proffie box on the support page it’ll show you the guide to accessing the arduino program

But beyond that I don’t have a lot of experience adding and changing stuff through arduino

It was giving me the same error when I tried updating my s3 through proffieconfig, ryry made the program and he said there’s something different about their config file that doesn’t interface with proffieconfig

bc long story short the first thing I was trying to do is this

its the live or die alt font i'm trying to enable that and idk how or if its already enabled and i'm not using the buttons on the lightsaber correctly or even what button combination i need to do lol

That's correct.
Although I am surprised it crashes even importing the config (tbf I don't know what their new configs look like either), even if it didn't, you cannot use the s3 OS and prop with ProffieConfig.

The alternative (while still using proffieconfig) would be to switch to normal ProffieOS and a standard prop, however you lose any S3-specific features.

Right, besides that, you'll have to use Arduino

It sounds like the S3 prop doesn't support that font anyways.

Well, assuming the S3 prop has not copied over Fett263's new features for "Special Abilities"

For setting it up with S3's prop file (or to see if it's even possible) you need to email them.
