Honestly dont remember where I bought the first one from they were a fairly known company but not huge, and than the other was off alibaba. Both worked perfectly fine for a while than i let them sit on display for a while and i just tried charging both and using them and nothing worked. The charger was working but neither of the lightsabers were charging. anyone know whats wrong? i can upload images if needed. Ones anakins and the other is jedi revan.

tbh, likely a cheap board dying from inactivity. Can you send a pic of the sabers and the boards in the sabers you are having an issue with?

This is the other saber it’s a hassle to get into I forgot who I bought it from but I’m pretty sure it was a ok board

this one would be an SNv4, TXQ board though the older version.

the SNv4pro would be better these days, but yeah it would be an entry level board imo.

well, I would rule out battery issues first by using an external charger and verifying the voltage the cells are showing.

by using an external battery charger and verifying the voltage with a tool that tells you voltage, like a multimeter.

then it would mean you'll need to either have the board replaced or replace the core. The LGT probably be easier since it's a drop in core style with USB-C charge port. the TXQ core might be more difficult, I rarely see that core sold as is. though you can check Ali, just make sure you get the correct length.

Sometimes cheap components will die over time, there is a reason why I normally recommend sabers be stored long term without their batteries in unless you have a kill switch/key to totally kill the power.

As for cost and difficulty, all depends. If you were to send it to someone for repair (like myself or others) it would be their service charge + cost of components. DIY, would be components, but you would likely need to replace that SNv4 with a proffie since SNv4Pro isn't sold just as a board out there. Lemme see if I can find a listing with the cores you need.

Well, looking up the LGT cores, you would be looking at about $76-100 for the replacement core, that would be drop in place. As for the TXQ (the anakin) would need to replace the board with something else, likely proffie. My service fee is normally $75 (for one saber, but I do have bulk pricing if doing multiple) + the cost of parts which if I were doing both, I would just be replacing the boards in the cores rather than getting whole cores, so cost wise for parts would be down to where I can source them from and what you want installed.

if I were to do just conversions on both cores, it would be $115 labor fee (for both sabers) + $60 for 2 proffies + $10 returm shipping totaling $185. If you only wanna do the one for conversion then it would be $75 labor + $30 proffie board + $10 shipping totaling $115 and if you send along the second saber with the replacement core I can swap it out for you on the house.

at least I'm pretty sure, they keep making new versions.
