I need help building my starkiller proffie saber

let's see here, I see a main body, shroud, bag of screws, chamber, several pixel adapters, 2 button PCBs, and 2 proffie cores..... you are just a few parts short of 2 full sabers.

no worries. Honestly it mostly looks like it's all plug and play in this case, looks to me like the crystal chamber already has the pixel adapter you need plugged into it, so all you need to do is plug the core and whichever switch PCB into it, then just assemble. Just think of it as a 3D puzzle.

You need to give it a little push to get it to connect to the pins then fasten 1 of the screws

That looks like there could be a short happening between the pixel adapter and the metal of the chamber, or there could be a wire that is exposed causing it, you'll need to take it apart and inspect them.

i mean, that would be the going rate for a total reinstall. Considering you already built it though, I could be persuaded to call it a repair, but would like to see if you can get it working on your end before going there.

I told the guy that it’s just putting it back together and that I have every part needed.che still stands at the price

well my going rate for repairs are much cheaper than my rate for install, but again I would like to see if you can get it working before going that route.

but yeah, either there is a short at the back side of the pixel adapter that is effecting the data line or that specific pixel adapter is just shot.

I bought it built because I never knew how to work on it. The company that sold it to me said they can not send a total new lightsaber and that it’s on me to repair it.
