Proffie no longer turning on

I connected my board to the pc and changed the board to webusb and mass storage on arduino, I did change a couple of settings back and forth and uploaded settings on to the board a couple of times through arduino and when I unplugged it and tried to turn it on, nothing happened. I didn't add any fonts, all I did was open the storage and clicked on a couple of the fonts that the saber has but didn't delete or change anything. I don't smell anything burnt and the pc still reads the sd card when I plug it in to the proffie board itself so idk if that means the board still works or if it can still be fried?

sounds like something weird happened with the upload

i'd try to upload again and see if that fixes it

I tried doing that just now but still nothing

I can hear the windows notification when I click the button on the board that it disconnected and reconnected

so does that mean the board isnt fried and it could just be something else?

you would have to do something extraordinary to fry it by making an upload

you're sure the upload is completing?

Are you sure it's not booted?
Does the font in the first preset have a boot.wav?
Did you try turning on the blade or cycling presets?
Any sound at all?
What does serial monitor say?

Do you have the correct board selected?

Try this. With the board plugged in and Arduino up, hold the boot button on the board, press and release reset, then release boot.

Without checking the port or anything, press upload to flash your config.

I had this exact issue last night.

it makes no sound or turns on, and I dont see a file thats named boot on the very first folder when I open the sd card if thats what you mean, serial monitor doesnt show anything

The usb type and I cant remmember if I changed anything else, I dont think I did but after it wouldnt start anymore, I started changing the programmer and also updated with zadig a couple of times

I tried this and im not sure which of the buttons of the board is what but I tried both, holding one and pressing the other with each of the buttons and uploading but still nothing, but now, I plugged in the board again and the sd card has a weird name, I did add a boot file from a different folder on to the first folder cause I didnt see one there so idk if I messed something up or not, probably did. It wont let me open a folder now and they all have weird names, "The filename, directory name, or volume syntax is incorrect." this is what it says when I try to open a file.

Ok so just realized I probably corrupted the files on my sd card by doing that

if the SD card is no good, the board's gonna act weird.
What happens with no card in?
It should speak "font directory not found, SD card not found."

The board makes no sound, it doesn't do anything

I hear the pc notification when I connect it and when I press one of the buttons on the board, I hear it disconnect and connect again

are you sure both wires are soldered to the speaker? no breaks in either wire?

doesnt look like theres anything wrong with the wires but then again Ive never really worked with this kind of stuff
