there was a bit at the end where she said "guys would come up and be like 'are you yennefer?' and i'd say 'who's yennefer"
the smirk said she was fucking with them to me
maybe, i'm not 100% the best at telling tones
and tbf it's not uncommon for actors who do a voice role to sometimes just have no idea what the thing they worked on was
for how involved voice roles in video games can be i doubt she didn't know. you have to get some sort of baseline of what to act off.
she knew who she was playing but didn't KNOW
that makes sense.
was definitely not a ewan getting cast as obiwan
kinda like an actor getting a role brought up from ages ago in an interview. Like asking Jennifer Anniston about Leprechaun when she was like 24 in that movie i suppose.
sarah jessica parker in flight of the navigator
i sure hope disney does find a spot to create a new show in the similar vein to Andor. aimed at adults and based around "regular" people in the universe
Flight of the Navigator was definitely on to something, that, Close Encounters and ET.
Spielberg is making a new sci fi film about that subject.
That’s interesting regarding Denise and her voicing of Yennefer, she’s got to be riffing on that, surely she knows.
like she knew who she was voicing but she didn't know the lore around said character
If you were around back then - or had the VHS box set - you know the story. The primetime hit ANDOR (1975) ended on a nail biter that left fans hanging for almost a decade. Then, without warning, the network quietly greenlit a follow‑up and dropped it into the 1982 lineup.
It was ambitious. It was uncompromising. It was ANDOR 1999.

This show also makes me appreciate Luke more in a weird way
It’s funny seeing all these hard as nails rebels working for years to undermine the Empire in small ways and then Luke just rocks up in ANH playing with his toy spaceships and complaining about his curfew on the weekends
yea imagine being one of the rebels that's witnessed firsthand the ghorman massacre or fought at Scariff and you just hear this teenager who hitched a ride with a smuggler and the princess of Alderaan just go "I used to bull's-eye womp rats in my T-16 back home. They're not much bigger than two meters."
Who let this fuckin guy near an X-Wing
weirdly i think this is an amazing bit of dialog. whether he's trying to or not. he diffuses the nerves in the pilots
oh i'm not saying it's bad, it's just funny is all
Literally the equivalent of a 16 year old that rode a dirt bike a handful of times being given a formula one car with weapons strapped to it
Pedrin Gaul gave up his seat
That was probably the best 12 hours of television I’ve ever seen
God damn
I’m just so grateful that got made. What a ride
Can’t wait for the S1/S2/R1 supercut

This video is just incredible
There’s a few cuts of the final beach scene from Rogue One, but with Andor’s music instead I’ve seen on YouTube.
Yeah having watched Rogue One right after, some of the shifts in tone are a little jarring. I’m looking forward to a rescored version without some of the campier bits
Go behind the scenes of the groundbreaking visual effects in season 2 of ANDOR.

Thanks for posting that. A good amount of the time I couldn’t tell where the set ended and the vfx began.
