For anyone who doesn't want to pay a subscription, I'm not saying get rid of the option for subscriptions, but I am saying give the player the option to buy the game in full

Ok, understood! Unfortunately those days are long gone for the most part! I remember those days, all the way back of flying on MSFS on dialup on a MacSE! 😁

"Those with financial issues" will struggle to pay several hundred as a one-off. A one off purchase would be very expensive

I guess if a person is having financial issues then buying the game wouldn't be the priority tbh, since there is a fine line between your wants and needs. Maybe they could save up a bit if they really want to buy the game.
