Currently we have:

Stairs truck (it has a roof and is also attached to the plane)
stairs obj (smaller stair object which IRL is mainly used for maintenance purposes

My new suggestion is a Roofless Jetstair used by commercial aircraft.
Additionally, it would be nice to not only have it as an OBJ, but also a functional ground service. Perhaps when it's sunny, the roofless stairs attach to the plane and when it's raining/snowing, the current ones.

I really like this idea as I find the current stairs rather unrealistic
