Aircraft in RFS are pretty known to have a mediocre quality, not the most amount of details but they are still nice. But i think its time for a change.

Instead of seeing new aircraft each month or two with mediocre quality, I would rather see aircraft that are much more detailed and will take longer since the details take time to develop.

And maybe to combat with people not waiting that much, information could be shared about what aircraft are coming and their progress.

I’m gonna be honest here it seems you want rfs to really fully copy the way if is going

#

Which I’m not gonna dislike that, I respect your idea of this but in the same matter it also removes some originality

At least I respect your opinion, but you’ve missed some points you should consider, first of all if you are going to pay for a mobile flight sim you should not come expecting PC-Like realism or detailed models, RFS is made for even low end devices, so creating the highest detailed models would set many phones with the sim on fire, it’s called a target demographic, people who want an excellent flight simulator that is not a scam like Fly Wings 2016 but still playable on their probably not so high end phone

And also Rortos in absolutely nothing of a company compared to Laminar Research or Microsoft which is statistically one of the richest companies worldwide, and Italy is not as rich of a country as the U.S of course, so local companies don’t or simply cannot invest as much money into their projects do to lack of available budget.

#

And c’mon dude, RFS’s models aren’t mediocre, sure they could be better, anything could be better, but they are certainly not terrible

Besides, as usual with big performance things, an option could be made to toggle them on and off

nothing makes sense to you

But those are some key points that you missed but I do agree with you in a way

If I didn’t knew better that is made for people who’s devices might not be the best

#

And like I said for being a mobile flight sim the models in RFS are excellent, but they could be better, and if you think they are not great then it’s your opinion

Laminar and Rortos are so completely different things and can not really be compared to each other...starting with the fact that mobile simulation is not their core biz...

Having higher detailed aircraft will need a higher system requirement
More game size not sure all devices will support it
But it can be made such that if your phone is compatible with a say ultra high def graphics 120 hz etc you could toggle a switch in graphics which is a good thing

Another part is it may cause a price hike
Rfs seems to be restricted by creating a game for the masses
Offering a superior version of rfs maybe better experience and may get more people who can pay for it

No seriously they did no joke here

#

Problem is people are impatient and think developing a flight sim is ez and quick

for me the only piece missing in rfs is the pacific scenery, Because it’s actually missing 🗿

Ah I get ya

#

But remember that with effort comes success, and speaking of remembering Hawaii was also blank ocean but it got updated with scenery

#

So they probably got the data they needed after a lot of time
