Ideas to Improve Subscriber Perks for Streamers on Trovo

I propose enhancing Trovo’s subscriber perks to improve the experience for users who financially support streamers. Beyond the existing benefits, it would be helpful to add options such as access to private Discord channels or chat rooms, discounts or exclusive offers on merchandise or digital content, priority participation in Q&As, events, or giveaways, and the ability for streamers to offer exclusive livestreams for subscribers, with the streamer controlling the number of such streams. Additionally, it would be beneficial to add a subtle badge or marking on content like uploads or VODs that are subscriber-only, with the option for the streamer to enable this. All these features should be manageable easily through Trovo Studio. These improvements would increase value for creators and strengthen their connection with their audience.

Additionally, it would be great to allow streamers to upload videos in up to 2160p (4K) resolution, while regular viewers could have access to streams at up to 1080p. This would enhance content quality without overwhelming users with bandwidth limits. Other perks could include unlocking subscriber badges, allowing up to 7 custom emotes per streamer, golden nicknames, live playback, subscriber-only chat and rooms, and subscriber-only slow mode.

Exclusive perks like discounts on merchandise offered by the streamer, access to private channels on the streamer’s Discord server, priority in giveaways or events, and subscriber-only streams would further strengthen the connection between streamers and their audience. All these features should be optional for streamers to activate and manage through Trovo Studio. The purpose of this idea is to expand the benefits streamers can offer, while also giving Trovo the chance to suggest new subscriber perk ideas for creators to consider.

Subscriber Spaces

You can setup custom channels in your Trovo space to be only accessible to subscribers. When creating the room, select "Limited Access" and select the roles that are allowed to access the room.

Subscriber Only Content

Subscriber only content can be set in the options. Requiring users to view the content by becoming a subscriber. When content is set to "Subscriber-Only" the content will prompt that it is a subscriber only access content.

Subscriber Benefits

Subscriber perks can be added or removed by going to Creator Studio > Channel > Customization > Subscription.
You can:

• Add custom badges at Space Level 5
• Enable or disable subscriber tier 1 & 3
• Create custom subscriber perks
• Live playback
• Subscriber only chat when toggled on
• 1080+ Resolution
• Golden Name

• Level up your Space Level to be granted more emote slots

I know many of these features already exist, which is very positive! My main proposal is to take things a step further — not only by adding new capabilities but also by helping streamers better understand and more easily activate these perks, as well as offer additional perks that will bring greater growth to their channels.

For example, Trovo could provide streamers with ready-made ideas or preset templates for perks through Trovo Studio, so they can quickly choose what they want to offer without having to create everything from scratch. Additionally, streamers could be given the ability to add their own custom perks beyond those suggested by Trovo to help grow their channels.

Moreover, perks like access to private Discord channels or discounts on merchandise remain external services, so Trovo might consider offering guidance or tools for smoother integration with these.

Finally, it would be excellent to allow streamers to upload videos in up to 4K resolution, while non-subscribers can view streams up to 1080p. This would improve content quality without overwhelming regular users with bandwidth demands.
