It’s a tough pursuit for sure & can be very draining on creativity. Lots of catering to what others want over what you want, sometimes for weeks on end, financial ups & downs, creativity being tied to survival, etc.

But it can yield a lifestyle change that suits some people! I always encourage people to treat it as extra income until it has been able to financially replace their job outright for at least 3 years! Just to make sure the income is stable & to test that it isn’t becoming too taxing on one’s creative drive~

Also never undersell! It is better to price a little high & adjust according to customer interest over devaluing your art!
