The big issue is, we cannot force anyone to do that. We're not all powerful. Threatening them with a 30d trade ban does nothing. We can only ban them or hope they tradeback. Making them do more work to "make it right" is a lot to ask for. It's not like they're paying a lot to be here. Most people who scam dont trade back. it's very few people who do. And the ones who do definitely wouldnt invest hours of work into it, and it's also not fair to demand that of them. At the end of the day, we provide a lot of tools for users to protect themselves, we hope they make use of them to do so. In the cases where they cant, we do what we can, but you didn't lose anything. I'm sorry you lost out on a bid, but it's just a pokemon, go hunt one yourself, or try a different bid. These aren't objects with real value

you can’t force anyone to do anything but you can try do the right thing at least. and making scammers do stuff to “make it right” being a lot to ask for is crazy. Ik im lucky to of likely got my pokemon back but that doesn’t mean I didn’t lose out on stuff also it being not fair to demand scammers to do what they actually agreed to do is ridiculous. To answer your other point there is no tools to check if it was duped? So there’s nothing possible to do there. And if i lost out on a bid and the pokemon I traded for the traded pokemon as I only traded them to get the bid then I lost out. don’t always have time to hunt one myself, can’t get a different bid as I no longer have the duped pokemon obviously and just because they’re not tangible doesn’t mean they don’t hold value? If people spend hours on something and trade it then surely it’s worth the time spent hunting it? Plus it would’ve just been a nicer interaction if the mods were more polite with it after getting scammed 😭

Making it right is giving you your stuff back. You're not losing anything. you're just getting your stuff back. I was polite with you, but you kept pressuring him into giving you more. And even after i sorted the tradeback you tried to keep the cloned pokemon ontop. I don't have time for people trying to profit off us moderating.

You lost out on a pokemon trade, it's not the end of the world, please stop making it out to be more than it is.

making it right would be getting what i traded for but sure. You keep that I didn’t lose anything so imma js agree as you’re not listening to my viewpoint. You weren’t polite and I didn’t pressure him into anything just asked if it was possible, he offered me smth else and to keep the money and I thought I was keeping the cloned mon and when he said no gave it back (idk what versions of screenshots he sent you) I haven’t profited a thing off this or your moderating? It’s not the end of the world not even a big deal but you told me to offer a suggestion which I did with kindness and you didn’t just not take it into consideration or try work with it but just outright said it was wrong? I have more of a problem with how this has been dealt with than the actual trade, I was just looking out for other people.

i was semi expecting a pokemon trade i agreed to i was fully expecting the people who handled it to be nicer to me than him and to hope i could help people in the future get some sort of fairer treatment
