It would be great for a mod or someone to put a message in announcements or something to encourage others to submit official requests so that Nintendo can maybe hear us after so many requests being sent in.

This shiny Legendary code distribution event is a complete disaster, the day after the codes release where I live and they are sold out in every single store in the city. I've heard so many other people complain about the same thing and none of us want to resort to buying from scalpers
Please submit a kind complaint/request to Nintendo about the distribution event, even if you already got the shinies. If enough people submit requests they have to take action and do something about it.
